REMINDER: The Final Exam will
be given at 1:00 PM on December 9th
- Remember the Final Exam is an accumulative
exam that covers Chapters 4-8.
- Have you studied all the vocabulary (classroom vocabulary, family vocabulary,
colors, descriptive adjectives, activities, bank vocabulary)?
- Are you able to conjugate all the verbs we’ve studied so far in the
present tense, the progressive tense, the preterit, and the imperfect? Some
of these verbs include: bailar, bromear, conocer, conseguir, costar, creer,
dar, depositar, empezar, encontrar, entender, entrar, enviar, estar, hacer,
ir, llamar, llegar, llevar, mandar, nadar, patinar, pedir, pensar, perder,
planear, poder, preferir, querer, recordar, saber, sacar, salir, servir, tocar,
usar, vender, visitar, volver. Have you spent enough time drilling all the
irregular verbs and stem changing verbs (p. 109, 132)? Do you remember how
to create compound verbs like (querer + or tener que + or poder +)?
- When do you use “estar” versus “ser”? And, what
were all their conjugations?
- How do you use demonstrative adjectives? What was all that stuff about “this
and these have t’s” etc.?
- Do you remember how to spell all the numbers in Spanish?
- What is the difference between comparative and superlative adjectives, adverbs
and nouns? When do you use “tan” versus “tanto”? What
happens to “bueno” in a comparison sentence?
- What are the direct object pronouns and when do we use them (p. 135)? What
about the indirect object pronouns? And, how and when would we use both of
these pronouns in the same sentence?
- What should you remember about pronouns as objects of prepositions (p.
114)?
- How many affirmative and negative expressions are there (p. 138)? What do
we should we remember about the negative expressions in regards to verb placement?
- Can you use the “hace…que” expression?
- How many reflexive verbs have we studied? What do we do with the reflexive
pronoun?
